Healthy Congregations/ Healthy Communities Project:
A Partnership with the San Mateo County Health System and the Peninsula Clergy Network

To increase awareness and access to County Health System services throughout the SF Peninsula, San Mateo County Health System invites all clergy and congregations to join in this initiative to improve the health outcomes of our communities! Download a Flyer with details.

Disaster Preparedness and Response

This plan engages all 250 congregations in San Mateo County in (1) the preparedness of individuals throughout the community, and (2) the formation of a system of core congregations designated as "Neighborhood Response Centers" and "Neighborhood Shelters" throughout the community. This is a major step forward, providing individuals with a support structure for the first critical hours and days following a disaster.

Diversity Training in Multi-Faith Awareness

A multi-faith training to augment multi-cultural training, in order to enhance client relations, community engagement and staff development.
